1st Luxembourg Guides went back in time to Celtic times, their patrol groups were named after Celtic animals, Butterflies, Dog, Goose & Griffin. During the weekend they got back to basics discovering how the Celts used the earth and nature to live.

Saturday morning they competed against each other in Highland Games. After lunch they got creative bowl burning, cooking flat bread in a clay oven, grinding the seeds beforehand.

Girls also used traditional tools to carve soapstone necklaces, create copper bracelets and make a leather bag to take their handiwork home in.

Cooking and eating were also enjoying inside the celtic hut, delicious burgers, fajitas and bacon sandwiches kept the tribes replenished for Saturday evening campfire sing song with the Brownies & Rangers joining in the fun.
